Managing director and the driving force behind Timdrew construction, Tim Howes, is a prominent personality in the KZN property industry and has been involved with many other successful projects with various partners throughout the years.
In 2012, Tim Howes partnered with Andrew Barnes to form Timdrew Property Development.
Between them they have over 30 years experience in commercial & residential property constructionand development and have owned and/or developed over R800m worth of properties under various companies and partnerships.
In 2020, Andrew Barnes sold his shares in Timdrew to Tim Howes, making Tim the sole owner and director of Timdrew.
This has enabled Timdrew to grow as a construction business, whilst still being able to take on development work when the opportunity arises.
Tim and Andrew still work very well together and continue to partner on projects together, albeit under different companies.

Tim has over 15 years experience in the property sector starting from construction, site supervision and project management, evolving into property brokerage and development.
Over the past couple of years Tim has actively built up, developed and managed a property portfolio with a gross asset value well exceeding R100m held in partnership with various prominent KZN property developers.
Tim has also built a large portfolio of high end residential houses in upmarket estates in the KZN Midlands and surrounds, as well as various commercial centres and office blocks ranging from Woolworths and KFC’s, to admin office blocks for surgeons and medical practitioners.
Tim is the driving force behind Timdrew and is still very hands on when it comes to the construction and development of each project.
